Thanasis Apostolopoulos studied piano at the Athens Conservatory and completed his studies in London, Paris and Salzburg with Aris Garoufalis, Irina Zaritskaya and Germaine Mounier. He has collaborated with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the State Orchestras of Athens and Thessaloniki, the Camerata-Orchestra of the Friends of Music, the Hanover Radio Philharmonic, the Gürzenich Chamber Orchestra, the NashEnsemble, etc. He regularly performs chamber music and lead with great artists in major European halls and festivals (Bozar in Brussels, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Halls, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Athens Festival, Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice).
