Tasos Apostolou
 
 

Tasos Apostolou studied classical singing with Frangiskos Voutsinos. With a scholarship from the "Alexander S. Onassis" Foundation, he continued his studies with M. L. Cioni and R. Negri in Milan, Italy, where he won an international competition. He is a graduate of the School of Dramatic Art "Veaki". He attended classes, acting and directing seminars with L.Ronconi at the PiccoloTeatro in Milan.

He is a graduate of the Department of Political Sciences of the University of Athens.

He sang, among others, in productions of the National Opera, the Athens Concert Hall, the Thessaloniki Opera, the U.N.H. in New York for the completion of 61 years since its foundation, at LincolnCenter, in Boston, at the opening of the New Library in Alexandria, Egypt, in Basel, Switzerland, in Milan, Italy, in Qatar, as well as in productions of the State Orchestra of Athens, the Orchestra of Colors, the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, the E.S.S.M., the Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens, the Athens Chamber Opera, the orchestra of the University of Thessaloniki, the State Symphony Orchestra of Cyprus, at the House of Letters and Arts , at Herodeum, at Delphi, at the Athens festival, at the Syros festival and elsewhere.

He has collaborated in concerts, first performances of works, recordings and discography with important Greek composers. He has starred in ancient and modern repertoire in theatrical performances of the National Theater, the Art Theater, etc., in Epidaurus, Herodeion and elsewhere, as well as in films for cinema and television (Th. Angelopoulos, L. Xanthopoulos, etc. ).

He has also directed various shows.
