Stefanos Fotopoulos
 
 

Stefanos Fotopoulos was born in 2003 and graduated from Pallini Music High School with the mandolin as his instrument of choice (N. Rogaku class). He is an honors graduate of the School of Advanced Theory - Department of Harmony of the Erateios Conservatory (2020, class of Andriana Kandyla), while at the same time he is studying in the 3rd Advanced class in piano at the same conservatory and with the same teacher. In addition, he has attended jazz piano lessons with Giorgos Dousis. At the same time, he is studying at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He is an active member of the traditional musical group "Ektos Ilis", with which they have performed several concerts and performances in musical stages and theaters. In 2020, he distinguished himself in the music competition "First Audition" of the Second Program of the Hellenic Radio with his song, "A woman in Exarchia", which was orchestrated by Achilleas Vastor and recorded by the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra under the direction of George Aravidis .From the fall of 2021 he teaches music theory at the Erateio Conservatory. In the same period, Subways Music published the famous traditional piece, "Syrtos Chaniotikos", which he arranged and recorded together with the lyre player, Giorgos Tsarkos.
