Marilina Tzelepi
 
 

Marilina Tzelepi was born in Athens, Greece in 1977. She started her piano studies at the age of 5 at Piraeus Conservatory (graduated age 17 in the class of prof. Yorgos Manessis). She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Music (Dean’s list / Honors) from the University of Indianapolis and a full scholarship Master’s degree in Piano performance at the Unicersity of Florida. Also holds degrees in Harmony and Counterpoint. 

Her career as a soloist began at the age of 14, counting numerous recitals and orchestra performances in Europe and the United States, awards at international piano competitions and recordings for Television, Radio and CDs. 

She works as a piano professor, accompanist and collaborator of the world renowned composer Yannis Markopoulos. She also writes and performs in theatre plays.
