Giorgos Tsarkos
 
 

Giorgos Tsarkos was born in 2003 and is a graduate of the Experimental Music High School of Pallini. He is an honorary graduate (June 2021) from the Department of Byzantine Music of the Erato Conservatory with professor Ilias Pilalis.

He has studied Cretan lyre and Cretan lute with the renowned lyre player, Manos Pyrovolakis. He is an active member of the traditional musical group "Ektos Ilis", with which they have performed several concerts and performances in musical stages and theaters.

He collaborates with the Erateio Conservatory in the field of teaching Cretan lyre and Cretan lute. At the same time, Subways Music published the famous traditional piece, "Syrtos Haniotikos", which he arranged and recorded together with the pianist, Stefanos Fotopoulos.
