Subways Music presents Fanis Antonopoulos’ Sonata for Trombone and Piano in three movements “Another World”, performed by Yiannis Kaikis (trombone) and Marilina Tzelepi (piano).

"I was inspired to compose this sonata by the confession of an artist about the discrediting and lack of understanding of his different, alternative way of thinking, by bureaucrats in a service, which he needed in order to proceed with a personal affair. It describes the harsh and unyielding attitude of the director of the service, the mockery of the employees regarding his artistic ideas, but also the despair of the artist himself, who, no matter how hard he tried, could not find a response to his needs. The artist sees a "different world" in the cruelty and treatment of these people, which is described in the first and third part of the work. In the second part there is an emotional change that reveals the hope for justification, which arose from the natural need of the artist to find the positive and optimistic view of the whole situation."
