Elsa Kilpasi

Elsa Kylpasi is a composer, pianist, singer, and music teacher. She has performed her songs herself from time to time in various scenes, and has posted several of them on Internet.

In 2000 she appeared in Lefkada in the framework of the " Festivals of Literature and Art" with the Night String Orchestra of Patra Municipality, performing in the first performance songs by Michalis Travlou, Iosif Papadatou and Vassilis Tendonitis. These songs were released on CD entitled "Greek Composers" in 2001. She has performed in the first performance in Spiritual Center of Chania, poems by Manolis Pratikakis set to music by Hara Palaiologou. She has appeared in
Metropolis live stage, at the presentation of the book by Renata Dalianoudi "Manos Hadjidakis and folk music tradition" performing Manos Hadjidakis, at the Youth Center Municipality of Chalandrio in Tribute to Manos Eleftheriou performing (Piano-Voice) poems of Manos Eleftheriou, in the Old Parliament interpreting Nikos Papakostas, at the Rematias Theatre, at the Tea Music Stage in the Sahara, at Dais Theatre, in the Mikis Theodorakis Amphitheater, and at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus. She has edited and has done the piano accompaniment for major concerts of her class at the Kodály Conservatory, in the Hall of the E/G Association "Philadelphia", with themes such as “Disney Movies”, “Old Athens", tribute to Michel Legrand, tribute to Elvis Presley as well concerts with jazz songs and musical repertoire.

Since 1997 she has worked as a piano and vocal teacher, as well as theory teacher, at the National Conservatory of Chalandri, at the Dueto Music School and the Conservatory Nikos Skalkotas. Since 2009 she works as a piano and vocal teacher exclusively at the Conservatory Kodály.
She was Maria Chairogiorgou-Sigara's student for several years at the Athens Conservatory. She completed her studies with a Piano Diploma (Thaleia Moira class) at the Conservatory Piraeus Association. She has degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue (class of Michalis Travlou) from the Nikos Skalkotas Conservatory and Classical Singing Diploma (class of Media Iasonidou) from Synchrono Conservatory. She has also taken singing lessons with Lina Tendziri, Christina Giannakopoulou and Despina Tsoukala.

For the last two years, she has been attending lessons in improvisation and music creation on the piano with Giorgos Dousis.
