Artemis Bogri

She was born in Athens and began her musical studies first in piano. She started classical singing lessons in the class of Marina Krilovic at the Athenaeum Conservatory, from where she received her diploma with the grade of Arista Pamdefaei, 1st Prize, and a gold medal. She has attended singing seminars by Dafni Evagelatos, Costas Paschalis, Jeannette Pilou and Aris Christofellis, with whom she continues her repertoire study. She was an active member of the Opera Studio of the National Opera from 2009 to 2011. She has collaborated with the State Orchestra of Athens, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, the Color Orchestra, the ERT Orchestra, the Ergon Ensemble, the Greek Contemporary Music Ensemble and with Camerata - Friends of Music Orchestra. In recent years she has been working closely with the composer Giorgos Kouroupos, giving concerts with him in Greece and abroad, while she has sung in the first world performance of his works "The Scene of Miracles", "Foni Dryos", "Leporella" and "Elpis Patridos". She has repeatedly participated in productions of the National Opera. She appeared in the roles of the Composer (Ariadne in Naxos), Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Angelina (Cinderella), Dorabella (So Do They All), Donna Elvira ( Don Giovanni), Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro), Stefano (Romeo and Juliet), Prince Orlovsky (The Bat), Mercedes (Carmen). In 2021 she sang the title role in the opera "Despo" by Pavlos Carrer in the anniversary tribute for the 200th anniversary of the Greek revolution, while she has also appeared in the role of the Merry Widow in a production of the Athens Concert Hall. She participated in the first world revival of C.W. Gluck's opera "Il trionfo di Clelia" (Royal Opera House- Linbury Studio), and at the same time in works of contemporary repertoire (tribute for the 80th birthday of the pioneering British composer Peter - Maxwell Davies (Icones - Miss Donnithorne's maggot, M.M.A.), “Madness” at the Athens Festival, singing Thomas Larcher's work “My illness is the medicine I need", the 16 songs of Nikos Skalkotas in first performance (MMA), etc. She is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus.
